Sumudu N. Ginigaddara

Mr. Sumudu N. Ginigaddara is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC Reg. No. 356), holding a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Kelaniya and a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from Buckinghamshire New University, UK. He is a Gold Medalist and First-Class graduate, recognized with the Prof. Sheila Wirz Award for Best Academic Performance in 2016/2017.

Sumudu is the first male graduate in Sri Lanka to achieve a First-Class in Speech and Hearing Sciences and be nominated to the Dean’s List in this field. In addition to his academic accomplishments, he has pursued advanced training through diplomas in child psychology, educational counselling, sociology, law, and human resource management.

He currently serves as a Lecturer in Special Needs Education and a Speech-Language Pathologist at a state university in Sri Lanka. His work focuses on supporting individuals with communication and developmental disorders through both academic instruction and clinical intervention.
